The 401st takes over Station 128

The Stars and Stripes are raised in a ceremony in front of Group Headquarters on 20 December 1943 as the 401st assumes command of Station 128, Deenethorpe, England.

Officiating at the ceremony were Squadron Leader Edward H. G. Watson of the RAF and 401st Group Commanding Officer Colonel Harold W. Bowman.
